Koorie Education

RMIT
Well done to our Koorie students who attended the Deadly Day of STEM excursion. All students represented Berwick College with pride and had a wonderful day completing each of the workshops.
Students had the opportunity to learn about engineering and design through the three different workshops available, these included: Cooling Cans – where students had to compete to cool their soft drink can the quickest; Electrical – students needed to wire up a light box, illuminating the light with a battery; Architecture – students designed mini structures and took photographs of them with figurines.
Students were also lucky enough to receive a campus tour and see the support RMIT can offer them.
Indigenous Leader
A massive congratulations to our new Indigenous Leader – Nikiah Worrell. I cannot wait to work alongside you and see how we can promote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture within the school.
