Year 11
Swimming Carnival
The Year 11 cohort enjoyed an energetic and memorable day at this year’s Swimming Carnival. Students proudly dressed in their house colours, adding vibrancy and spirit to the already exciting atmosphere. There were a range of swimming activities, novelty and food trucks that the students could partake in. Overall, it was a successful day!
Sandy Point Surf Camp
Year 11 students recently travelled to Sandy Point for a three-day Surf Camp experience. Across the camp, students developed their surf skills, building confidence in the water while learning about wave selection, board control and ocean awareness.
Students also participated in first aid sessions and practical scenario-based activities, developing their understanding of water safety and emergency response. The camp provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen teamwork, resilience and independence, while creating lasting memories with peers.
Presentation Ball Rehearsals
Year 11 students have officially begun rehearsals for this year’s Presentation Ball. Excitement is building as students learn the choreography and begin practising the formal dances in preparation for the big evening.
Rehearsals have already showcased great enthusiasm, teamwork and commitment, with students supporting one another as they build confidence and refine their routines. We look forward to seeing their hard work come together for what promises to be a memorable and special event.
Mentor Program
Year 11 students have the opportunity this year to be supported by a mentor teacher. The Mentor Program provides valuable academic guidance and wellbeing support as students navigate the expectations and challenges of senior school.
Through regular check-ins and goal-setting conversations, mentors will work alongside students to encourage organisation, build confidence and support their progress throughout the year. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this program will have on our Year 11 cohort.
