Out and About the School

2027 Kinder Open Session
Do you have a child or know someone with a child ready for Kindergarten in 2027?
Our enrolment period opens on Tuesday 10th March.
PUPIL FREE DAYS
At St Xavier's, we are committed to providing your children with the most engaging and effective learning environment possible. To maintain this high standard, our teaching staff regularly engages in "Professional Development".
Please note that there will be no school for students on the following days:
- Monday 20th April
- Friday 24th April
- Monday 20th July
- Tuesday 21st July
- Monday 12th October
While the students are away, our teachers become the students, mastering new tools that will be brought directly back into your child's classroom. Research shows that when teachers have the time to refine their craft, student engagement and achievement significantly improve.
Fruit Break Appreciation
St Xavier’s Primary School sincerely thanks Woolworths and Coles for their generous support in supplying fresh fruit for our students’ daily fruit break. This contribution plays an important role in promoting healthy eating habits and ensuring our students are well nourished throughout the school day. Access to fresh fruit not only supports physical health but also enhances concentration, energy levels, and engagement in learning. By encouraging healthy choices, we are helping students develop lifelong wellbeing habits that positively impact their academic success. We are truly grateful for the partnership and community spirit shown by Woolworths and Coles in supporting our students.
Acknowledgement Of Country
One of our Year Three Aboriginal students, Reggie Stewart, recently spoke with great pride when reading the Acknowledgement of Country at our school assembly. An Acknowledgement of Country is a respectful statement that recognises the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather and honors their continuing connection to Country, culture, and community.
By standing confidently before peers and staff, Reggie demonstrated leadership, cultural pride, and respect for heritage. Moments like this strengthen identity and belonging, while educating the wider school community about the importance of recognising First Nation’s peoples. It was a powerful reminder of culture, respect, and shared responsibility.
Reggie is photographed with her parents, Lincoln and Sarah Stewart and AEA Daisy Jaeger.
2025 School Magazine
We have a small number of 2025 School Magazines left. If you would like a second one, or one for a family member, please contact the office. They are $15.00 each.
2026 School Fees
The 2026 School Fees have been invoiced. Instalments are due on the 21st of each month. Please contact Jeni Muller in the office with any school fee related issues or concerns.
Medication Alert
A reminder to parents that ALL medication should be handed into the office, it must not be kept in your child's bag. Any medication must be provided in it's original packaging with written (or emailed) instructions for administration.
All new or updated Medical Plans must be shared with our Office. It is a legal requirement that we have the most recent plan in place. This is of course for the safety and well being of our students.
