Mr Buchanan's Chess Club

When: Every Monday at both Recess and Lunch time.

Where: Room N102 (North Block)

Who: Anyone is welcome, all levels of experience can play.

How it works: Students will play social games, they can play a friend or be randomly paired. 

House points and prizes will be on offer to regular participants and the winners of tournaments.

Career Conversations Showcase 2026

We are excited to announce that our inaugural Career Conversations Showcase will be held on school grounds on the morning of Wednesday, 1st April 2026.  

This is the same day as our first Face-to-Face Parent/Teacher interviews, so we hope many of you will take the opportunity to accompany your child to this event before the interviews. There will be exhibitions, practical displays and guest presentations in the Auditorium. We will also have a coffee van and a variety of food vans on site for your convenience.

Our exhibitors include several universities, TAFEs and RTOs (Registered Training Organisations), as well as a variety of businesses from a wide range of industries. The intention is for parents and students to be able to begin the conversation with a “real’ practitioner in that respective area and ask the questions that are relevant to them.
