Welcome to another edition of Eyes on VET!

VET Connect students have been extremely busy, with theoretical and practical tasks going full steam ahead in their certificate courses both at school and externally. Workplace visits have started taking place and the feedback from employers has been fantastic to date, with a few students already being offered casual employment outside of school hours.

Staff were very excited when we received the exciting news that the Green Apple Café will be open during Core and Recess, Monday to Friday. The Red Apple Café will also be open on Mondays and Wednesdays, serving HOT barista coffee only. Both cafes are available to all staff and Year 12 students. Our Hospitality students are off to a great start!

There are many exciting events and opportunities for students already being offered to students, such as Year 9 Career Tasters and ADF Work Experience. Three Career Tasters have already been filled! Look out for Connect notices where lots of opportunities will be advertised…
