NAPLAN

NAPLAN - Years 7 and 9
This is a reminder that the NAPLAN Online Practice Tests will be held on Monday, 23 February (Week 4) in preparation for the official NAPLAN testing period.
All Year 7 and Year 9 students will complete the Omnibus Practice Test, which includes sections in Reading, Conventions of Language and Numeracy. This session provides students with the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the online testing platform, experience the format and style of questions, and complete essential device checks prior to the official assessment period.
By now, all Year 7 and 9 students should have installed the 2026 NAP Locked Down Browser (LDB) on their devices. On the day of the practice test, students must bring their fully charged devices with the current 2026 LDB installed, as well as their headphones. All other materials will be provided on the day.
Students must check their Compass timetables on the morning of Friday, 20 February, as there will be room changes for Periods 4 and 5. Additional room changes will apply on Monday, 23 February for the practice test. During testing, students are required to follow their Compass timetable carefully to confirm their allocated room and test time.
The official NAPLAN testing period for 2026 will take place from Wednesday, 11 March (Week 6) to Monday, 23 March (Week 8). Catch-up sessions will be available for students who are absent on their scheduled test days, up to and including Monday, 23 March. Further information regarding the official NAPLAN testing schedule will be communicated closer to the date.
