Staff - Farewell and Thank you

Dear parents and students,

As my time at SJV comes to an end I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to you all. My time here has been filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable memories. I feel so fortunate to have been a part of this wonderful and very special community for 14 years.

To my students past and present and for those who I pass in the hallways, thank you for your kindness and energy. Watching you all grow and succeed has been an absolute privilege. You have all taught me more than you will ever know.

To the parents and community, I have loved our chats along the way and getting to know you and your families.

I am very excited for the next chapter and I will definitely be back to visit -  SJV will always hold a special place in my heart

Wishing you all continued success, joy, and fulfillment. May you keep striving to be your best, and may your paths ahead be filled with many blessings.

With heartfelt thanks and best wishes,

Emma Sofra

I am truly grateful for my time teaching at SJV. I have been teaching here since the middle of 2019 and have many fond memories of both the staff and the students. I appreciate the support I have received from the families and being able to share their child's school journey with them.

I've been blessed to have such wonderful classes in my years at SJV. I wish all of the students at our school a fun and memorable 2025 and everyone a happy and safe Christmas.

Best wishes, Mrs Natalie Papaioannou

To the beautiful SJV community ,

As I depart for 12 months leave I would very much like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the families and students who I have had the pleasure of getting to know and teach these past 2 years. Wishing all our community a very happy Christmas and peace filled New Year and a wonderful 2025!

Best wishes

Andy Kinsella

I had the most wonderful time teaching the beautiful children at St John Vianney’s for two years. As I packed up my room this week, I thought about (with great fondness) the intelligent conversations, the confused faces, the light bulb moments, silly jokes, laughter, never ending questions, loud voices and thought provoking discussions that took place in my classroom each day.

I loved that all the students in 5/6H (2023), and 3/4H (2024) accepted each other like they were family. I may have been the teacher, but I was also a learner and the children in my classes taught me something new and valuable everyday. As their teacher, I hope to have been a source of inspiration and to have made a positive impact on their learning.

I thank everyone who made my time and experiences at SJV most memorable.

To the beautiful community of SJV!

Thank you so much for having me here with you all, I’ve enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you! Whether I’ve been in your Gala Sports Day team, your Bike Ed teacher, helped with your swimming or even have just helped you with your learning in the Classroom - I’ve loved every minute of it and will miss you all deeply!

Good luck for whatever 2025 brings!

- Miss Ella

I would like to thank the SJV community for welcoming me so warmly this year and particularly the leadership team and staff for supporting me as I finished my studies. While I am very excited to begin my teaching career in 2025, I am sad to be leaving SJV.

I have learned so much this past year, things that will help me be the best teacher I can be. I loved working with the choir and the wonderful students of SJV, and I hope to come back and visit in the future!
