Principal's Report

Dear Families,

This is our first newsletter for 2025. I welcome all our students, families and staff to the new school year.

Our students are settling into the start of the school year well. Students were excited to catch up with friends and settle into their new classes.

Our Year 6 student leaders were presented with their badges on Friday 31st January. Student leaders play an important role in our school and act as great role models. The turnout from families was very good and they were quite proud (rightly so!) to receive their badges.

Foundation students started on Monday. This is always an exciting time of year for students and parents/carers. A reminder that Foundation students do not attend school on Wednesday in February.

Next Tuesday 11th February we hold a Foundation Picnic from 5.30-6.30pm. I am looking forward to attending my first Foundation Picnic at BNPS.

On Thursday 13th February is a student free day – students do not attend school on this day. Meet & Greets take place from 10.00am to 6.00pm. Thanks to parents for booking in via Compass.

We have had several very hot days, with high UV already this term. It is good to see that all students are being sun-safe and wearing hats this term.

Have an enjoyable and safe weekend!

Regards,

Anthony Tait
