Denise's Message

SCHOOL ENDS TUESDAY DECEMBER 17TH 1:00PM

Dear Families,

As we reflect on 2024, a year that has brought its share of challenges, we find ourselves grateful for the many triumphs that have defined our journey. Guided by our Catholic faith, we have drawn strength from the enduring values of compassion, humility, and service.

Today, I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to this year's success.

Fr. Nic

We are deeply grateful for his spiritual guidance, his support of our Sacrament program, and the joy he brings to our masses and liturgies. His presence and leadership have enriched our community, and we thank him for being a steadfast pillar of faith for St. Michael’s.

Our families

Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to our community. Your active participation in events and activities and your commitment to making our school a welcoming and vibrant place are invaluable. To those families leaving our community this year, we extend our deepest gratitude for all you have given to St. Michael’s. We wish you every blessing and success in the future.

Our Educators

To our dedicated educators, your unwavering commitment is the foundation of our success. Your passion for teaching and your belief in the potential of every student inspire all that we achieve together. This year, we bid farewell to Hayley, Indi, Cheryl, and Tameka. Your contributions to St. Michael’s have been immeasurable, and you will be deeply missed. We wish you every success and happiness in your future endeavors.

Our children

To our graduating students, the world eagerly awaits your talents and aspirations. As you step into the next chapter of your lives, carry with you the lessons learned here, using them as the foundation for making a positive impact in the lives of others. To our returning students, may the coming year be one of continued growth—academically, spiritually, and personally. Embrace every opportunity, rise to every challenge, and remember that your potential knows no bounds. Your journey is defined not just by your destination but by the paths you choose to explore.

As we reflect on this year, let us carry forward the lessons we have learned. Let our faith guide us, becoming beacons of light and love in all we do. In the face of challenges, we are reminded that unity is our strength and perseverance our key to greatness.

As we close this year and prepare to embark on a new one, may we do so with faith, hope, and love in our hearts. Together, as one united community, we will continue to inspire, learn, and grow.

Thank you for your hard work, your dedication, and your belief in the transformative power of education. May the year ahead be filled with joy, success, and new opportunities for us all.

At this time of year we also think of those we have lost during the year.

I ask you to keep my dear friend Paul Hogan, an ex-Principal, and his family, as well as our much-loved LSO Toni Williams and her family in your prayers. May our God watch over and give comfort to their families during this Christmas time.

I am so very privileged to be the Principal of St Michael's and blessed to be surrounded by such professional staff, amazing children, and supportive families. We have achieved so much this year and I know we can do even better next year.

God bless and thank you.

On behalf of all St Michael's staff, I wish you all a very happy Christmas and every blessing for a healthy and happy New Year.  May the joy of the newborn Christ child come to each of your families and may you have a fun-filled holiday break shared with family and friends.

May light and goodness always shine in your hearts!

Looking forward to seeing you all in 2025!
