Year 6 Graduation

Our Year 6 Graduation Ceremony was held on Monday, 9th December at the Dame Roma Mitchell Centre. It was a wonderful evening to celebrate the graduating class of 2024. The Student Leaders did an amazing job as comperes for the event, and we thank them for their hard work this year. 

 

A special thanks to Mrs Brown for volunteering her time to choreograph and teach the graduation dance; 'Bye Bye Bye' by NSYNC.

Pearce Determination and Resilience Award 

The inaugural Pearce Determination and Resilience Award is an initiative of Rhiannon Pearce MP, Member for King, to celebrate a student who has shown persistence and demonstrated determination and resilience through their studies and personal development at school. This was awarded to Seth Claridge, congratulations Seth! 

KiC (Kids in Community) Award

Kids in Community or otherwise known as ‘KiC’ is a significant part of the Greenwith Middle School ethos. An important aspect of our middle school ethos is about giving back to the school community through volunteering for jobs like; working in the canteen, JP support, peer support, crossing duty, whole school recycling and many other great activities. Thank you to Jake Samy for his significant contribution to the GPS community. Congratulations Jake!

Greenwith Values Medal

This is a new award to acknowledge a graduating student for consistently demonstrating the CORE values and Play is the Way key virtues across all subjects, extra-curricular activities and leadership duties.
