Our grade 1/2 students have taken developed a keen interest in netball over the term and it’s super exciting to see the immense progress made by all students. They have been engaging in netball tournaments and discovering a deeper understanding of teamwork skills, cooperation, sportsmanship, and fair play. They have been demonstrating excellent use of their passing skills; chest pass, bounce pass, overhead pass, shoulder pass and one-handed bounce pass skills during play and have been mastering their catching skills while on the move!
Our prep students have also been developing their catching and throwing skills, moving towards using the chest pass, bounce pass and overhead pass in mini-netball games. They are having SO much fun and thoroughly enjoying playing as part of a team and putting their skills to work in game play!
