SAPSASA District Girls Soccer

It was a great turn out for the Salisbury East District SAPSASA Girls Soccer this year with so much talent in the district, making it extremely difficult to choose a squad. Well done to all that participated, you represented yourselves and the school well.

We are pleased to announce GSPV students Ivy and Nia have been chosen in the district SAPSASA female soccer team. Congratulations Ivy and Nia!

SAPSASA District Boys Soccer

As with the SAPSASA District Girls Soccer, it was a great turn out for the SAPSASA Boys Soccer too! Again making it extremely difficult to choose a squad.

We are pleased to announce that Stage 4 student Jay has been chosen for the boys carnival, 19th-12st August. Congratulations Jay!

Yr 4/5 GS Warriors

GS Warriors played Pedare Boomers in the Grand Final in week 9. Boomers had been on top of the ladder all year, but the GS Warriors won the elimination final against Pedare Slammers by 1 point to get in the Grand Final! We had a great start, and everyone put in their best effort and played with so much grit and determination. It came down to the last 3 seconds, Eden grabbed the rebound and we won by 2 points. Amazing effort by all, and our GS family cheer squad... GS Warriors Champions 🏆

Players: Eden, Jake, Shayla, Tennyson, Nate, Flynn, Rhys.

Absent: Shaurya

Coach: Jade Custance.

U8s GS Nets

This week we welcomed Harry to the team for his first game. The Nets confidence is building as we had 5 scorers for the match. And a great attitude from Jacob filling in for the other team so they could have enough players to start the match.

Scorers: Austin 8, Chase & Zeppelin 6, Phoenix 4 & Xavier 2.

Coach: Jade Custance
