Dear Boarding Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to Term Three. After a restful break, the boys have settled into the new term enthusiastically embracing their studies and a range of various sporting and weekend pursuits.

We are delighted at the progress of our building program, with the new boarding house taking shape very quickly. At this stage, pending any serious disruptions, we are very much on schedule for the project to be completed in time for the start of the 2025 school year.

Congratulations to three of our boarders, Anthony, Merrick and Lyndon who took up the challenge to design a football jersey for our inaugural NAIDOC Football game which was held on Wednesday afternoon against Governor Stirling Senior High School. Anthony’s design was chosen as the winner and a set of shirts was produced for the team to wear. Well done to all three boys for their efforts.

This week, along with Principal Simon Harvey and staff from St Brigid’s, I have been visiting Paraburdoo and Tom Price and meeting with existing and prospective families. Our series of visits throughout the state will continue in the coming weeks with the Karratha region on our agenda. It’s always lovely to connect with our current families and also share the benefits of a  Mazenod experience with families wanting to find out about residential options for their sons.
