Conferences

This week has provided parents and carers with an opportunity to share and celebrate their child’s learning as well as their social development over the past 6 months.

Conferences provide opportunities to:

  • build positive relationships
  • share information about the student’s interests and learning behaviours
  • share information about the student’s health and wellbeing
  • provide specific feedback on student achievement and progress
  • talk more in-depth about the student’s report
  • understand more about how to support the student in their learning
  • establish goals for improved learning and achievement in the future.

If you have any questions regarding your child’s achievement and learning you are always welcome to book in a time with your child’s teacher outside of the conference schedule.

Senior Edendale Farm Excursion

Our senior school students have immersed themselves in their Inquiry Unit for this term ‘Sustainability’ with a visit to Edendale Farm.

They engaged in a range of activities from feeding the animals to creating electricity by riding a bike. This helped them develop their understanding of achievable sustainable practices they can implement into their daily lives.
