School Photos

School Photos will be taken Friday 2 August.  All order forms need to be returned as soon as possible.  Sibling photos are available.  Please ask reception if you'd like a sibling order form.

 

On photo day students are required to wear their full uniform (no coloured sports polos or Year 6 senior polos). Please see uniform information attached below.

 

Chief Minister's Reading Challenge 

The Chief Minister's Reading Challenge is due23rd August.  Forms were glued into student's diaries earlier this year. No late entries can be submitted!

 

Students were challenged to read 12 books over the 24-week period. Students who have read 12 books will receive a certificate from the Chief Minister.  Mrs Bevan will also have prizes including 1st prize of a 3D printed dragon! Every 12 books read by the student will give them 1 entry into the draw.

 

Book Week

 

Book Week is happening in Week 6 with our Book Week dress up happening on Friday 23rd August. 

 

Students can start planning their Book Week costume based on a character from one of their favourite books!

 

 

Enrolments 2025

We are currently taking Foundation enrolments for 2025. If your child has a younger sibling who is eligible for Foundation in 2025 (turns 5 prior to 30th June 2025) please contact Reception for an enrolment pack. We ask that you enrol before 1st August 2024 to avoid disappointment as places are limited. 

 

We are also taking enrolments for Years 1-6, please call 8950 0700 to book a tour. As with Foundation, places are limited. 

ICAS

ICAS 2024 is an Optional Assessment Programme. Parents who wish to nominate their Year 2 - 6 child to sit individual ICAS assessments should visit https://shop.icasassessments.com/pages/pps and use school access code: XMW918. Each assessment has a cost involved. Nominations close on Monday 29th July, with assessments being held throughout August. Welcome Ondré Radke

 

 

Hi my name is Ondré Radke. I have recently moved to Alice Springs with my husband from South Australia, as he has a position with Finke River Mission. I previously worked in a Lutheran Primary School in the Barossa wine region in SA. We are enjoying the sunny winter days of the Centre and the warm welcome l have received from Lisa and the staff at Living Waters.
