 2025 School Subject Selection

Subject Selection for students in Years 9-11 continues to progress well. This week our Year 10 students and families have been involved in Course Confirmation Interviews with our Course Counsellors to ensure they are getting the support and information they need to make their selections for their 2025 Year 11 Program.

Next week, our Year 9 students will take part in these interviews. These will provide a valuable opportunity to discuss options and provide advice for our students.

Year  10s:

Web Preferences for our current Year 10 students will close on Monday 12 August at 9am.

Year 9s

Web preferences for Year 9 students will open on Monday 12 August and close on Friday 16 August at 3.30pm.

Students are encouraged to discuss their options with their classroom teachers and parents. Learning Mentors are available to assist students with entering their selections on Web Preferences.

Exciting News: Year 9 Amplify Program Launch in 2025!

We are thrilled to invite all current Year 8 parents and students to an important information night on Wednesday 4 September from 5.30pm to 6.30pm in the Oak Centre, Brigidine Campus. This event will provide insights into our newly designed Year 9 program, set to transition at our Kildare Campus.

At St Joseph’s College Echuca, we strive to offer challenging, rich, and differentiated learning opportunities that engage students and promote deep learning. In alignment with this vision, we are excited to introduce the Year 9 Amplify Program, launching in 2025.

The Amplify Program is an innovative curriculum designed to enhance the connection between core foundational knowledge and the dynamic learning capabilities developed through project-based learning.

We look forward to seeing all Year 8 parents and students as we discuss these exciting changes and what they mean for Year 9 in 2025.
