I completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Master of Social Work. I have worked in schools and in the public health sector.

What do you love most about working at SJC?

As a social worker, I am passionate about helping young people navigate challenges and develop skills to help them succeed. The collaborative environment in schools enables me to work closely with teachers, staff, and families to create a supportive network around students. I appreciate the constant learning opportunities that come with the job, as each student and situation is unique. Ultimately, being able to contribute to a positive school culture and witness students thrive is what I love most about my work at St Joseph's College.

 

What has been your most memorable moment in your time at SJC?

Moving to a two-campus school.

 

What is one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you?

When I left high school, I began a bachelor of nursing and withdrew after one semester.

Working with my parents after 10 years away.

Supporting students to help them understand and receiving thanks for the support.

 

What has been your most memorable moment in your time at SJC?

Outdoor camps with Year 11 and 12 classes. The best experience.

 

What is one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you?

I have been riding motorbikes for 38 years. This year was my first time riding a dirt bike on a track.
