Digital reputation

Digital reputation is the digital footprint created by all the things your daughter says and does online, as well as what others post about her. The people and sites she follows, the content she posts, likes or shares, the comments she makes, and what she's tagged in all contribute to her digital reputation.

Digital reputation can affect friendships, relationships and even job prospects through life, so it's very important to be mindful of your daughter's visibility and behaviours online.

Parents and carers are encouraged to discuss digital reputation with their children and conduct regular reviews of the many ways they interact online; including, but not limited to TikTok, I message, Snapchat and instagram.
