She eagerly participated in classroom discussions and was able to identify different character traits, using evidence from the book to explain why she chose them. Incredible work

FKVivienne McLeodCuriosityCongratulations to Vivienne for always showing great curiosity. She displayed this wonderfully when we had a visit from the police to find out how they help us in the community. Vivienne had many questions and was interested in what the police wore and used. She also displayed excellent manners. Well done!
1NJay OlivierPersistence Jay has been working very hard to advance his vertical addition skills, practicing with both two and three digits and regrouping numbers. Well done, Jay! You should be proud.

2HAngus Jones Teamwork Angus has been an outstanding competitor during our Potato Olympics over the past two weeks. During every event, he has worked brilliantly with his partner and has been a fantastic sport by cheering on the other contenders. Amazing work, Angus!
3BEthan Lee Ethan consistently demonstrates a great love of learning and enthusiasm. Not only does he show positivity when discussing mathematics topics, he also loves discussing Literacy concepts such as character versus self and character versus Society. Fantastic work Ethan!
3TAlexis TaylorA Love of LearningAlexis has been an active participant during our novel study of Amari and the Night Brothers. It has been wonderful to see her hand shooting up to join in our class discussions. She has been able to use evidence from the text to support her responses, even using quotes from the text. FEEmmanuel GallandLove of LearningCongratulations to Emmanuel in Foundation E for displaying a love of learning. He has been working diligently at his table during independent learning time and displays excellent dedication towards his writing. Manu has written many different sentences in his writing book which included correct use of capital letters, correct punctuation and letter formation. His efforts have shown many values including perseverance and curiosity. Well done Emmanuel!

During one of our writing lessons last week she did a wonderful job identifying boundary punctuation and was able to turn a fragment into a sentence. Great job Maya, keep up the fantastic work.
