Wishing the Costello Family Well on Their Adventure!
As the Costello Family embarks on their exciting journey back to England for the next year, we want to extend our heartfelt wishes for safe travels and wonderful experiences. We look forward to hearing all about their adventures abroad and can't wait to welcome them back home next year. Bon voyage, Costello Family!
Student Representative Council Actions
Our Student Representative Council (SRC) met again on Tuesday, and we are excited to share some of the highlights from our discussion!
Olympic Games
The Olympic Games have begun and the excitement is building. To celebrate this important and unifying event, St Bede's will be hosting an Olympic Extravaganza tomorrow Friday, 2nd August.
On Friday morning, Kaboom Sports will be collaborating with our school leaders to run a mini Olympics event. After recess we have a special visitor, who is excited to meet our students. We are looking forward to enjoying this special celebration with the children and making it a memorable experience for everyone.
On Friday children can come dressed as their favourite athlete (does not need to be an olympian) or in their favourite sports gear. Please wear sneakers.
There will be no assembly tomorrow afternoon as we will have gathered as a school at 11.30am.
100 Days of Prep
This week our Prep Children celebrated 100 days of prep on Tuesday. They had a wonderful day counting, making and celebrating 100.
Concert Workshop Day
Our first Concert Workshop Day is just around the corner, taking place next Wednesday. On these special days, each class will have the opportunity to practice on our measured stage in the hall, receiving valuable guidance and feedback from Mr. Bode, our Performing Arts teacher. In addition to rehearsing, students will also be busy creating props and backdrops to enhance their performances.
Here are the upcoming workshop dates:
If you are able to assist with props, backdrops, or any other activities, please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher. Your help will be greatly appreciated!
Looking forward to a fantastic series of workshops and an amazing concert!
Directive from the Executive Director
We have been directed by the MACs Executive Director that all staff - including permanent, fixed term, casual and CRT staff and parent volunteers - that until further notice they must not undertake any activities that would involve them working on roofs, or any similar locations where there is a risk of falling. While this directive is in place staff cannot climb on the roof to collect balls.
Thank you for your continued support.
Go the Roos.
