Out of School Hours Care Update

Exciting Announcement - Out of School Hours Care

Dear Newport Lakes Primary School Families,

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the programs and support available to our students and families, and as you may recall from the last newsletter, we recently concluded a comprehensive tender process to review the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service delivered at our school.

Following this process, we are pleased to announce the appointment of TeamKids as our new OSHC provider.

TeamKids will commence Vacation Care on Tuesday 6th January 2026, with Before and After School Care beginning on Wednesday 28th January 2026, coinciding with the return of students.

We are confident that this partnership will deliver exceptional benefits to our children, families, and broader school community. TeamKids’ model places a strong focus on wellbeing, inclusion, and consistency of care, and we look forward to welcoming them into our school community.

There will be upcoming information sessions and engagement opportunities, including an online Parent Information Session on Tuesday 25th Novemberand a Free Coffee Morning on Friday 28th November, where families can meet the TeamKids staff and learn more about the program. Further details about these will be shared shortly.

^These fees will be significantly reduced when the family’s eligibility for Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is applied to the total cost of the day. Families will only be charged the 'Gap' after their CCS is applied. Individual family circumstances will affect the CCS rebate. Further information can be found at

Our page on their website is now live for registrations.
