I'm pleased to share an update on the new kindergarten being built at our school.
Due to a revised construction schedule, the opening of the kindergarten has been adjusted from Term 1, 2026 to Term 2, 2026.
To ensure programs can still begin next year, the kindergarten will operate from a temporary location at 17D Everard Road, Ringwood East during Term 1, 2026 (subject to regulatory approval). Children enrolled will then move into the brand-new building at Croydon Hills Primary School from Term 2, 2026.
The Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) continues to oversee planning and construction, and EV Strengthening Communities Inc. has been appointed to operate the kindergarten service.
Next steps:
More details are available in the attached letter and FAQs, or by visiting the VSBA website:www.schoolbuildings.vic.gov.au/croydon-hills-primary-school-kindergarten-interim-name

Have you been down to Realm at Eastland to see our students’ amazing recycled art sculptures on display? Our school is proudly featured as part of the “Creating from Recycled Plastic” exhibition — showcasing creativity, sustainability, and community spirit in action.

A huge thank you to our Visual Arts teacher, Ms Claudia Michielin, for leading this inspiring project and supporting our students to create such outstanding work.
The display runs until 16 November, so there’s still time to check it out! Read more here: Creating from Recycled Plastic – Realm Exhibition

The School Sport Victoria calendar sees individuals and teams play seasonal sports throughout the year with Term 4 hosting many of the finals.

Congratulations and good luck!

Next week is Children’s Week, a time to recognise and celebrate the rights, talents and contributions of all children. It’s a wonderful reminder of the importance of play, creativity and listening to children’s voices — values we celebrate every day at our school.
