Student Leadership Report

Good afternoon Newtown families,

Here is our newsletter for Term 4, Week 1!

The preps have been writing sentences and playing subtraction and addition math games. In specialists they have begun scratch art.

The juniors have been learning about purpose and audience in writing pieces and have started writing about their holidays.

Meanwhile, the middles have been measuring origami pictures and have been part of literacy circles.

The seniors have been summarising 'Gathering Blue' and have begun writing a short chapter book inspired by The Giver and Gathering Blue. In PE, they have been starting to develop their skills in basketball, and have discussed opinions on the environmental crisis in Music. In Art they have also started to prepare items for the Art Show.
