Community Volunteering Program

The Year 10 boys, accompanied by Mr Jones and Mr Furminger, visited Mt MacKenzie to engage in a group challenge on 11 September. They were divided into two teams tasked with transporting a 5kg, 10kg, and 15kg weight, along with a football training pad and a first aid kit, from the base to the summit of Mt MacKenzie. The boys were not permitted to let the weights touch the ground throughout the challenge. All participants demonstrated remarkable determination and teamwork, with the Yellow team emerging as the victors of this activity. Great work everyone!

Congratulations to our Year 10 boys, under the guidance of Mr Furminger and Matt, for their commendable volunteer work at the Men's Shed last week as part of our community service program. The students played a vital role in moving and organising the shed in preparation for an upcoming event.

Book Week Dress Up

A huge congratulations to everyone who took part in dressing up for the Year 12 Book Week fundraiser today! It was fantastic to see so many creative and colourful outfits, bringing some of our favourite book and movie characters to life. Your enthusiasm really made the event special and helped support a great cause.

Among the standout costumes were the Ninja Turtles, who showed off their iconic ninja skills and teamwork spirit. The Smurfs brought a splash of blue and fun, reminding us of the classic stories from the village. We also had Harry Potter fans sporting their wizard robes and scarves, capturing the magic of Hogwarts.

The Oompa Loompas from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory added a quirky and playful touch with their bright green hair & orange faces. Scooby Doo and the gang were there too, ready to solve mysteries and bring some nostalgia. The Cat in the Hat made an appearance with his tall striped hat and mischievous grin, spreading fun and laughter.

Minions from Despicable Me brought their usual cheeky charm, while Woody from Toy Story reminded us of friendship and adventure in Andy’s room. We even spotted Where's Wally, who challenged everyone to find them in the crowd!

Thank you to everyone for your creativity and participation. Your amazing costumes made the day memorable and helped raise funds for the Year 12 formal. We’re proud of the spirit and support shown by all!
