Welcome to the Community

On Thursday 1 May, the City of Hobart hosted an Australian Citizenship Ceremony, welcoming 69 new citizens to Hobart from 28 different countries.

Year 9 students, Macey Cuizon, and her family took their oath and received their citizenship certificates, presented by Lord Mayor of Hobart, Anna Reynolds.

Making the occasion even more special was having the Young Voices of Hobart Choir sing 'I am Australian' and the national anthem for the new citizens.
