Here's some good news

Well done to year 12 Student Flynn Finch, who has secured Structured Work Placement (SWL) with Grovedale Car Care.

Flynn is hoping to gain a School Based apprenticeship in Light Automotive to commence his career in the industry.

Last year Flynn did some Work placement at another employer in Colac exploring maintaining farm equipment and machinery. His interest has turned to light automotive work and James at Grovedale Car Care has him out completing full services on a variety of cars and FWDs.  

This year, Flynn will study Certificate Ill in Light Automotive at trade school, work at Grovedale Car Care and complete his senior schooling  giving him a head start on his future career.

HEAD START PROGRAM

School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBAT) are a valuable part of beginning a student's career in their chosen field.

We're very thankful for Geelong and Bellarine employers like James from Grovedale Car Care, who take on students such as Flynn to gain the skills necessary to progress to employment.
