Lord, bless all mothers today and every day.
Grant them strength, patience, and overflowing joy in their roles as caregivers.
Father, we lift up all mothers, including the remarkable grandmothers among us.
We celebrate their wisdom, their strength,
and the unconditional love they pour into our lives.
Amen
We thank God for the swift appointment of Robert Prevost, a cardinal from the United States, now our new Pope, taking the name Leo XIV. In his first words as Pope Francis’s successor, Leo said,
“Peace be with you. Together, we must try to find out how to be a missionary church, a church that builds bridges, establishes dialogue, that’s always open to receive - to be able to receive everybody that needs our charity, our presence, dialogue and love.”
