SBYHN Wellness Survey (Online)

Marie Pritchard is our School Based Youth Health Nurse here at Balmoral State High School. She invites you to have input into our service.

Marie would like to get to know the school community better and support health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. Could you take a couple of minutes to support her with our objectives and plans to do this.

Completing this survey will highlight the important issues of young people in your community and guide our service to better support them.

Parent Session for Assessment Yarns

Throughout the year, we have been working with external consultants to enhance our school’s approach to inclusion and belonging. As we move into the next phase of this important work, we want to ensure that the voices of our wider community are given the opportunity to hear what our student voice is saying and also contribute to our findings. To do this, we are proud to be hosting a family “yarning” session at school with our consultants in the coming weeks.

We would love for you to be involved in this final stage of the assessment process. Your insights will help shape future initiatives and ensure we continue building a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all.

If you are interested in attending to hear the results so far from our staff and students and contribute some of your own experiences of; what inclusion means to you, what is working well, and what improvements you would like to see to create a stronger sense of belonging at our school, please RSVP using the details outlined below.

The parent session details are:
