REFERENDUM FUNDRAISING BBQ

Saturday 14th October

Randwick Literary Institute on Clovelly rd 

 

 

We need volunteers for the Referendum fundraising BBQ which will be taking place on October 14th outside Randwick Literary Institute.

These BBQs are always a fun day had by all and we are asking for volunteers to please assist with the cooking and selling.

There will be NO BAKE SALE for this event.

Get Involved in 2024: P&F and Class Parent Roles

We are calling for any members of our community who would like to become part of the P&F committee in 2024. The roles of P&F President and P&F Secretary are required.

 

What’s involved? 

  • Working alongside St Margaret Mary’s executive team to assist with school community events such as the Mother’s day and Father’s Day breakfasts, St Margaret Mary’s Feast Day and our Whole school End of Year Event.
  • Planning fundraising events to assist the school with school equipment upgrades and developments.
  • The Mother’s and Father’s Day gift stalls: All monies raised from these stalls goes directly to funding the community events such as the End of School Event
  • 4 x P&F Meetings each year where you learn about what’s happening in the school and share your ideas.

 

Why be involved?

  • It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet our wider parent community
  • To work alongside our school’s leadership and teaching staff
  • Opportunity to make a difference to our school and your child’s learning environment

 

What to do next?

  • If you are interested in joining the committee or would like to know more please contact the P&F on stmmparentsandfriends@gmail.com or a current member of the committee
  • We would ideally like to have nominations for the 2024 committee by the P&F AGM scheduled for  Thursday 9th November

 

We are also seeking interest in parents who would like to take on a Class Parent role for the 2024 school year.  This is a valuable role and resource within our school community.  If you would like to be a Class Parent please email us on the above email.

 

Wine Orders

 

Don't forget to order your exclusive St Margaret Mary's wine through the online order form below. They are a great compliment to any dinner party (or afternoon relax) especially during the holidays, and every purchase will benefit the school. Orders are for 6 bottles of any of the wines. The Chardonnay is a cold climate produce so does not have the typical 'woodiness' of a Chardonnay, and the Shiraz is drinking well now but will also cellar well for many years.
