First Holy Communion

On Saturday the 9th of September our first communion candidates received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. It was a beautiful night where we gathered as a community and celebrated this significant milestone in the students faith journey. A big thank you must go out to Fr Bill for leading us in this celebration, Paul the parish pianist who accompanied the choir and Ms Kelly for preparing the choir who sang beautifully.

STMM Feast Day Celebrations

This year, we will be celebrating St Margaret Mary’s feast day over 2 days - Monday October 16 and Tuesday October 17. A note has been sent home with each student and a digital copy is available on Compass.

Mrs McClure and I are looking for parent volunteers to help us ensure that the days run smoothly! Please indicate on the slip if you are available and return to the office in a sealed envelope ASAP.

Who was St Margaret Mary?

St Margaret Mary Alacoque was a very special lady. She loved Jesus with all her heart and spent a lot of time talking to Him in her prayers. One day, Jesus showed her His heart, which was glowing with love and asked her to tell everyone how much he loves them.

St Margaret Mary was really brave and did her best to share this important message with others, even when some people didn’t believe her. She wanted everyone to know that Jesus loves us so much, just like a friend, and He wants us to be kind and loving to each other.

St Margaret Mary shows us that it’s important to be patient, to never give up on what we believe in, and to always trust in God’s love. St Margaret Mary’s story reminds us to be loving, kind and faithful in our own lives too.

A Holiday Prayer for Spring

Dear God,

Thank you for spring, so fresh and new,

For school holidays and skies so blue.

Help us have fun and keep us safe each day,

As we enjoy our break through laughter and play.

Amen.
