Group 24

This term was very fulfilling and fun for everyone in Group 24. We enjoyed a range of activities inside and outside the classroom, including bocce, footy and our favourite bushwalking and swimming sessions! We have also recently started going to the school library, and it has been great seeing everyone explore different types of books as well as engage meaningfully during our group reading circles.

We have also been incorporating social games during our rotations to strengthen our understanding of appropriate and inappropriate behaviour when working with others, as well as to engage with the curriculum in more fun ways. Games such as Uno, Trick Sticks and Snakes and Ladders have been the students’ favourites, while also providing opportunities for colour recognition, making one-to-one correspondence when counting, and understanding the concept of randomness in our daily lives. It has been a wonderful term full of growth and happy memories.
