This week's notes

Dear families and friends,

Welcome back for Term 4.  A few pics from this week.

Staffing

While Ms Ferrier continues on leave we have had a number of staff changes. Please be assured that despite some staffing changes and timetable modifications, the quality of education and care for our students remains our number one priority.

Mrs Bell has been a fantastic teacher in the Yr 5/6 room and afternoons with 4/5/6 and she deserves her planned holiday to France next week.

Starting next Monday, Ms Bree McLeod will be taking over the Yr 5/6 class and 4/5/6 afternoons and Friday.  Bree had a day with us last term and is looking forward to her 4 week stint at Cavendish PS.

Frau Barber

We welcome back Frau Barber to Cavendish PS.  Frau Barber will be working each Monday during this term, teaching Music in the morning and German in the afternoon. She commented that it was lovely to be back!

Mrs Bell on holiday

Mrs Bell has a very exciting trip planned for the next three and a half weeks.  She is off to France with a friend to visit her brother that is currently there.  She is looking forward to having a relaxing time in the South of France and being a tourist. Bon Voyage Mrs Bell!

Robotics excursion

Next Wednesday, 11th October, the Years 4, 5 & 6 students have a 'Robotics on the Road' incursion delivered by Museums Victoria. To be held at Gray St PS, we will be travelling on Mr Herrmann's bus. We leave at 9:30am and we will be back at school for a late lunch.

Ms McLeod and Miss P will be the supervising teachers.

PLEASE COMPLETE THE PERMISSION FORM ON THE SCHOOL APP IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO ALREADY.
