5/6 News…

South East Melbourne Phoenix 

 Last week the whole of DPS had a fun incursion involving some basketball players. Us 5/6s played some shooting games with a few of the team managers. We were split into a couple of groups and took turns shooting the ball into the ring with a new challenge every time. It was so fun, especially as some of us don’t play basketball. It was a new experience. After that the 5/6s, 3/4s, 1/2s and preps were split into two sessions. The actual players from Phoenix Soar Basketball were able to come and sign some shirts they gave us. We also had a Q & A where we could ask them questions. We had four players come and sign for the last part of school. I even saw some kids getting their drinks bottles and other stuff signed! It was so cool to be able to meet some actual professional players.
