From the Music Room…

The year 5/6’s have had their first lesson in playing simple guitar chords. To do this we placed sponge mutes on the lower three strings. While waiting for a turn on the actual guitars students were able to play virtual guitars on the GarageBand app. 

Next week we look forward to hearing the year 3/4’s performing at assembly on their recorders! They have alsobeen making steady progress on the ukuleles. 

I’m excited to announce that our Christmas concert date has been locked in! We will hold this on the second-last day of term: Tuesday December 19, from 4 - 5 pm. Please save the date and invite your family and friends along!
