Prep-4 Swimming Program

With Term 4 fast approaching, our swimming program is just around the corner. This is just a friendly reminder that swimming will be coming up in Weeks 2 and 3 of Term 4. Our Grade 3 and 4 Learning Communities will be swimming in Week 2 and our Prep, Grade 1 and Grade 2 Learning Communities in Week 3. 

• One of the guidelines schools that use Geelong College are asked to follow is that parents are unfortunately unable to attend these swimming sessions. This is a Geelong College rule. 
• Part of the program is to build independence, so students are expected to dress themselves and remember to gather up all belongings each day. Teachers will ensure all students are supported during this process. It’s important to have all items clearly named.
• Students need to wear their school uniform with their bathers underneath to school for each of the 5 days of swimming. No jewellery is to be worn.
• Please bring a bag for a towel, undergarments, swimming cap and goggles. (Students must wear a swimming cap and goggles during lessons).

Paper medical forms were sent home with students last week.  Please complete and return to your child's classroom teacher by Wednesday 4th October.
