Year 9 Musicians Achieve

The College congratulates the Year 9 musicians who have recently represented the College at inter-school music events. 

One of the College rock bands, Hit by the Sun, rehearses each Monday afternoon at Yirramboi. This band includes students from Year 9 and 10. On Friday 22nd August the band performed at the regional Battle of the Bands held at Penola Catholic College. They entertained the enthusiastic crowd. We look forward to hearing more from this band at the Bowery Theatre on Wednesday 17th September at 7pm. (See the Encore Instrumental page for ticketing information) 

Nine Year 9 musicians were also key participants in the Symphonic Band who performed at the Victorian Schools Music Festival last Wednesday. This bands achieved Gold! We congratulate the students and their conductor, Ms Jenny Going.
