As our school community buzzes with excitement for the incredible Spring Magic Market coming up this weekend, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the fantastic final results from our Trivia Night and offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made it such a phenomenal success…. AND we’d love your FEEDBACK here, if you have a moment to complete a short survey on your Trivia Experience, we’d be very grateful.
Trivia Night 2025 - A Phenomenal Success!
We're absolutely thrilled to share the final results from our spectacular Grown-Ups-Only Trivia Night held on Saturday 26 July! What started as an evening of fun and fundraising turned into something truly extraordinary.
We're delighted to announce that our trivia night raised an incredible $6,426.63 in profit for BNWPS! This fantastic result is a testament to our wonderful school community's generosity and enthusiasm. Every single dollar will go directly toward enhancing our children's educational experience.
This outstanding success wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of our incredible volunteers who gave their time and energy to make the evening unforgettable.
Janet from Planet Janet Trivia and her incredible assistant Scott delivered another fantastic evening, complete with winter-themed rounds, video and music questions on our brand-new projector, and a dance floor that came alive with DJ Jack Furphy's winter-inspired beats.
Our Volunteer Heroes:
Special recognition goes to our CET Trivia Sub-Committee, (led by the incredible Anne Treasure), who not only planned and organized every detail but also rolled up their sleeves to help out on the night: Jenny McDonald, Joel & Tessa, Linda Williamson, Imren, Jenny Addy, Linda Reiling, Lucy, Brigid Morgan, and Mayii Evans.
Our amazing volunteer team also included Jo Keeble, Denis Phelan, Ellen Sullivan, Jackie Snowdon, Kate Jones, Karri Hedge, Kristy Lee Tyrrell, Alice Beattie, Naomi Wake, Anna Strempel, Al Bradtke, Lou Conroy, Taia Stewart, Mia Cornthwaite, Kristy-Lee Laidlaw, Sophie Ross, Sarah Napier, Lee Anderson, James Allison, Imogen, Nikki, Ruth, Samantha, Jane Eckett, Sarah Purcell, and Katie Scholtes-O'Brien.
From setup to pack-down, ticket sales to table service, photo booth to cleanup – each volunteer played a vital role in creating the magic of the evening. Your commitment to our school community is truly inspiring! A huge and heartfelt thanks as well to all those ‘impromptu volunteers’ on the night who lended a helping hand with packdown.
If we've inadvertently missed anyone, please accept our sincere apologies and know that your contribution was deeply appreciated.

All volunteers at the school need a valid Working With Children’s Check - click this link to apply if you don’t have one. It’s fairly straightforward and free for volunteers.
