This week has been busy once again, as we try to catch up with the pool competition while some of the students are back onsite.

Dorm Monitors Dinner

On Wednesday evening, Ms Sparks took the dorm monitors out to dinner at a Chinese restaurant as a reward for their assistance in and around the dorms so far this year. I think the students had a very enjoyable evening.

R U Ok? Day

Thursday was “R U OK? Day,” and this was celebrated across the College in many different ways. The fun began at morning tea when all students returned to enjoy bright yellow cupcakes, followed by games, including a hotly contested chocolate competition. It was fantastic to see so much participation. Lunchtime was also lively with table bingo, and once that wrapped up, the bingo sheets became paper planes for a design-and-launch contest in the gymnasium.

After dinner, Emma, our Chaplain, organised an awesome evening of games that students fully embraced. The fun continued in the gymnasium before moving outdoors to enjoy the mild evening around the fire pit. There was plenty of karaoke, and we discovered we have some real performers among us!

I would like to especially thank Emma for an amazing R U OK? Day, which culminated in a fun-filled evening that the students embraced and had a great time.
