Principal's News

Dear Parents and Carers,
We warmly invite our current parents to join us for one of our upcoming Learning Walks. These sessions are much more than a school tour – they provide a special opportunity to see our classrooms in action, experience how learning happens at Sacred Heart, and hear insights about student learning.
During the Learning Walk, you will:
- Step inside classrooms and see students engaged in their learning.
- Hear commentary and insights into how we teach Religious Education.
- Meet with other parents in a relaxed and supportive setting.
- Have the chance to ask questions and learn more about school life.
Learning Walk Dates for Current Parents:
- Tuesday 9th September, 9:00am – 10:00am
Tuesday 11th November, 9:00am – 10:00am
Please see further on in the newsletter for more information.
We look forward to welcoming you to this wonderful opportunity to share in your child’s learning journey at Sacred Heart.
Book Week Parade – Tomorrow
Tomorrow we celebrate Book Week with our much-loved annual parade and activities. While we may not remember every spelling rule or times table from our own school days, we do remember the special moments that stood out. The Book Week parade is one of those days for our children – a chance to dress up, celebrate stories, and create lasting memories.
Parents and friends are warmly invited to join us for the parade, which will begin at 9:10am in the courtyard. After the parade, students will enjoy activities in their classrooms based on this year’s Children’s Book Council Shortlist. A special thank you to Mrs McVilly for all her organisation and preparation in bringing this day together.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Kind regards,
Karl Dwyer
