The 8th of August marked a special day in the lives of Australian Catholics… It’s the feast day for our first saint, Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop.

Many wonderful saints share the month of August for their feast days, but it is hard for an Australian to pass up the opportunity to celebrate St Mary of the Cross MacKillop. Mary MacKillop is best known for co-founding the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart, an order of nuns dedicated to providing education and social services, particularly to the poor and isolated. She was also the first Australian to be declared a saint by the Catholic Church.

Please also join us for mass to celebrate the feast of St Bernard at 9.30am on Wednesday 20th of August.

Just a reminder that toni Wednesday, 13th August at 7pm, is our Eucharist Faith Night.

If your child is making their First Eucharist, both you and your child are required to attend.

If your child is not making their First Eucharist  or is receiving a Blessing, attendance is not required but you are most welcome to join us!
