Wonderbox

Wonderboxis a multi-sensory relaxed performance that explores Curiosity, Choice, Wonder and Celebration and has been made specifically for the enjoyment of children living with disability, including those with Autism and complex needs. 

Where: Bendigo Town Hall, 189-193 Hargreaves St Bendigo.

Each show is for approximately 16 children and young people and their carers.

Dates: Saturday MAY 31st 10am and 1pm

Cost: $12 per participant

 Wonderbox has been made for children with disability, including those with high support needs and complex communication as well as those on the Autism Spectrum. All performances are “relaxed”.

The performers use multi-modal communication including live music, strong visuals, key signs and limited language. There is an adjacent chill out space for any students who need a sensory break.

Audience members are invited to enjoy the performance in their own way and are free to move around, join in and explore.  A social story and other preparation materials support student engagement.
