Principal`s Message

-

Firstly, I would like to take a moment to thank our wonderful school community for their support during my recent time away. I underwent a procedure to remove a skin cancer, and I’m pleased to report that all went well. It has been a good reminder for all of us to take care of our health, and I appreciate everyone’s understanding during my absence.

As we come to the end of National Reconciliation Week, I would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather each day, and pay my respects to their Elders past and present. I extend that respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who are part of our community.

The National Reconciliation Week (NRW) 2025 theme, Bridging Now to Next, reflects the ongoing connection between past, present and future. Bridging Now to Next calls on all Australians to step forward together, to look ahead and continue the push forward as past lessons guide us.

School Photo Day Success

Our School Photo Day was a fantastic event! It was wonderful to see so many students and staff looking their best. The weather cooperated, allowing us to take full advantage of our beautiful school grounds for the outdoor shots. A huge thank you to everyone for their efforts in making the day run smoothly and for bringing such positive energy to the occasion.

Interschool Sports:

After five weeks of intense competition dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship the Interschool sports carnival has come to an end. The grade 56s were  outstanding ambassadors for our school. Congratulations to all involved!

Change of Uniform Supplier

After 25 years of partnership with Aplus School Wear, we would like to inform our school community of an important change. Aplus is selling the business, and as a result, our uniform contracts will be transitioning to Lowes from the 30th of June. This means that, moving forward, you will be able to purchase school uniforms from Lowes at Northland Shopping Centre. We’d like to thank Aplus for their service over the years and look forward to our continued relationship with Lowes. Further details will be shared as we approach the transition date.

Colds and Flu: A Reminder to Rest and Recover

As we move into the colder months, colds and flu are becoming more common. If your child is feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you keep them home to rest and recover. This not only helps them get back to full health faster, but it also helps prevent the spread of illness throughout the school. Remember to log any absences in Compass so we can track student attendance. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school community healthy.
