FareShare Food Drive

🥫 540KG DONATED – RECORD SMASHED! 💥

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s food drive! Thanks to your generosity and teamwork, we collected an incredible 540 kgs of food.

All donations went to FareShare, who were incredibly grateful and will be putting it all to good use supporting people in need. We are especially grateful to all the parents, carers and students who went out of their way to purchase so much for this cause. 

Your kindness and support will make a real difference .It was a fantastic effort from our whole school community — well done and thank you again!

Met East at the Queensland State Schools Football Carnival

A huge congratulations to Nura (Year 10) and Bella Jongejan (Year 8) for their outstanding achievements representing Met East at the Queensland State Schools Football Carnival!

These talented young athletes helped their team secure second place in the entire state — an incredible accomplishment that reflects their dedication, skill, and passion for the game.

STUDENT LOGO COMPETITION – PERRY’S TUCKSHOP - Win $100 Tuckshop Voucher!

Calling all artists, designers, and creative minds! Our brand-new tuckshop, Perry’s, needs a logo—and we want YOU to design it!

Perry’s is named after our fierce and friendly school mascot, the crocodile, so the logo must have a crocodile theme and incorporate our school colours: green, white, black, and gold.

We’re looking for unique, eye-catching ideas to represent Perry’s to the whole community. The winning design will be featured as the official logo—and the designer will receive a special prize!
