PBIS

Our focus for the next fortnight is on Playing Outside.   Teachers will be explicitly teaching the routine to children on how to ‘Look After our Bin Area.’  Teachers will follow the principles of PBIS (Positive Behaviours Interventions & Supports) by:

Teach - Teach the appropriate skills and behaviours

Model - Model to students the appropriate skills and behaviours

Practise - Practise by acting out role plays

Acknowledge - Teachers will acknowledge students when they demonstrate the behaviours by positive reinforcement

Correct - by extra social skill instruction where needed.

We need your help!

Did You Know St Therese’s Has a Casserole Bank?

One of the beautiful pastoral care initiatives at St Therese’s is our Casserole Bank—a freezer stocked with home-cooked meals ready to support families in our community who might be going through a tough time or just need a little extra TLC.

Right now, our freezer is empty, and we need your help!

Could you cook an extra meal, or double your dinner recipe and set one aside? Maybe whip up an extra batch of muffins or a tray (dish/pot) of something simple and nourishing? Every contribution—big or small—makes a real difference.

Drop-off: Meals can be brought to the school office, clearly labelled with ingredients and date.

Thank you for helping spread kindness, one meal at a time. ❤️
