Dear Families,
Congratulations to all our students and their families on receiving the Sacrament of First Eucharist and Confirmation over the last two weekends. This is a truly special time for our young people and a significant commitment for our families. Thank you to the parish team and our staff who assisted in both the sacrament preparation and the liturgies. A special thank you to Fr. Jake for leading these beautiful ceremonies.
Last week, our Year 6 School Leaders, and Pastoral Wellbeing Leaders visited each class to gather feedback on how students are feeling about our new classroom routines. These routines include how we enter and exit classrooms, and how teachers gain students’ attention to start learning.
The comments from our students were overwhelmingly positive:
Next term, we will have three new routines for our teachers to master.
Principal Lighthouse Awards
This week's recipients are: Valentin, Vance and Lincon
Thank you for being so respectful of others. You all took the time to help a classmate, teaching him how to play footy patiently and with kindness. Thank you for sharing your gifts with your friends and our school.
Supervision Hours (Repeat)
Please note the schoolyard is unsupervised before 8:30 am. There are still many, many children on the grounds prior to this time.
For the safety of your children, I am asking that they are not dropped off at school before 8:30 am.
