Fruit Program

As previously mentioned in our newsletter we are running a fruit program in school. It started this term and has been a wonderful success.

Just a reminder to all families, please continue to send lunches to school for your students, including a brain snack to have in the morning during class time. Fruit provided by the school is for something extra if they are still hungry after they have eaten.

This week is Men’s Health Week 9th-15th of June

Men's Health Week is an annual campaign, celebrated in June, that focuses on raising awareness about the health and wellbeing of men and boys. This year, Men's Health Week (June 9-15) emphasizes the importance of "See Your GP" and encourages men to prioritize their health by scheduling regular check-ups and seeking professional support.

Keep warm and stay well - Self care

There are lots of bugs and illnesses going around at the moment. Hopefully you are all staying warm and healthy! Just a reminder that our mental wellbeing can also impact our physical wellbeing. If you are stressed and worried, your body can be impacted and become unwell. This is your reminder to STOP, REST, and RESTART. Try some self care, do something you enjoy, read a book, spend time with the kids and the family, forget about the house work, just take a big breath and REST. With less than 4 weeks now left of term 2, we are almost half way through the school year already. It is getting colder and looking after ourselves is so important. Stay warm everyone!
