It's Science Week!

It's National Science Week Australia, 2023! This is an annual celebration of science and technology. It was first established in 1997 and provides a chance for students to appreciate the contributions of Australian scientists and the world of science.  The aim of National Science Week is to spark an interest in science in young people and to encourage them to find fascination in the world that we live in.

This week students will engage in science learning and understanding connected to their term's inquiry. Students will be sharing their learning in Week 10 at an end of term learning showcase. All are welcome to come along and share in our learning. Details about our showcase will be shared soon.

Book Week is next week!

Next week is Book Week. The theme is Read, Grow, Inspire and we will be celebrating books and a love of reading all week. To complete this celebration we will have our annual Book Day on Friday August 25th.

On this day students are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character and engage in activities connected to different Book Week shortlist books.

On this day we are also having Family Fun Friday and invite families to come along to read and celebrate books with us. Parents are welcome to join in the fun and also come dressed as their favourite book character.
