🏁 Rev Up Your Future at MTA Open Day - September 23rd! 🏁

 

Gear up for an action-packed day of discovery on Saturday, September 23rd, at the Motorsports Training Australia (MTA) Open Day!

 

If you’ve ever dreamt of becoming a mechanic for a motorsports team, then get ready to dive into the world of automotive adrenaline and uncover the exciting path to your dream career. The Open Day will give you the opportunity to learn more about studying at Motorsports Training Australia, whilst meeting some of our current students and talking to our trainers. Visitors can expect to see our variety of race vehicles used for throughout training including the MTA V8 Supercar, Formula Ford, and many others.

 

MTA is one of Australia's leading motorsports education provider. Our graduates have found great careers across all aspects of the industry, including working for V8 Supercar teams across Australia, Formula Four teams, being owner operators of their own mechanic shops and many more! Some of our students have even gone on to work with NASCAR, World Superbike, and Formula 1 teams internationally.

Students from Mount Beauty Secondary College can now register for VCE revision sessions SWOT Week. 

 

Introduction to SWOT Week:

 

SWOT Week is a biannual VCE revision program run by the Student Welfare Outreach Program (SWOT) at the University of Melbourne with the aim of providing opportunities for VCE Unit 3/4 students from underrepresented schools in Victoria. 

 

The interactive session will complement your studies, providing you with resources and guidance from top VCE graduates. This is also a chance for you to experience university life and meet peers from around Victoria.

The program will also provide you with sessions such as Pseudocode Workshops - a new area of the study design for Methods and Specialist Maths - and a University tour. Note that, with the exception of LOTE subjects, all other subjects are run in person at the University of Melbourne Parkville Campus. LOTE subjects are intended to be delivered online only, but there will be a room for students who have other in person subjects to join on zoom while they are on campus.

Price: $2 per session for subjects, additional workshops such as the Pseudocode workshops and LOTE sessions (which are online) are free. If you require financial support for purchasing tickets, you can contact swot@muhi.org.au for further information
