Soccer Gala Day - Friday September 15th

It is finally here! The Diocesan Soccer Gala day will be held this Friday the 15th of September at the Gipps Street Playing Fields in Tamworth. I would like to thank Michelle Cortis, Jenni Hird and Karen Allan and Aimee Rawsthorne for offering to take extra students with them. Without your support we could not have participated in this fabulous day. Those students who are carpooling need to meet out the front of school at 7:45am on Friday morning, we will then travel together by convoy to Tamworth. For those travelling with their parents, we will meet at Gipps Street Playing Fields under our school tent by 9:00am, where a roll will be marked.

Things to remember:

Games will start at 9:30am and finish roughly by 2pm.
Pack a full lunch box and at least 2 water bottles. There are no canteen facilities available.
It is going to be warm, please ensure you have your hat. The school will provide sunscreen and the school tent for shade.
Wear your school representative shirt and normal sports bottoms. Joggers or soccer boots can be worn. Long football/soccer socks will need to be worn so shin pads stay in place (the colour of these does not matter, any football socks are fine). Shin pads have been handed out to students who have indicated they need them.
