STEM Day Adventures 

Grades 5 & 6! 

What a day of creativity, curiosity, and construction! Our Grade 5 and 6 students became real-world engineers and designers during STEM Day — building cubbies, crafting bridges, and even constructing self-supporting Leonardo Domes! From testing materials and refining designs to exploring how geometry and teamwork make structures strong, every challenge sparked innovation and laughter. The day wrapped up with pixel art coding fun — turning numbers into colourful digital masterpieces.

A huge shoutout to our young inventors for their teamwork, problem-solving, and imaginative designs — the future of STEM looks bright! 

 Year 3/4 STEM Day Turning Ideas Into Action! 

What an incredible STEM Day we had in Year 3/4! Inspired by “What Do You Do With an Idea?”, our young innovators discovered that even the smallest idea can grow into something amazing. The day was packed with hands-on challenges, creative thinking, and plenty of teamwork!

Students kicked off by sharing their wild ideas — from rainbow generators to chocolate fountains — learning that no idea is too big or too small to explore. Then, they rolled up their sleeves for some serious making! Our budding engineers built wooden biplanes, carefully sanding, painting, and assembling each piece with precision and pride. The excitement soared as they tested their creations and celebrated their craftsmanship.

Next came the STEM challenges, where curiosity met problem-solving. Could you fit through a piece of paper? Our students could! They also built tiny Strawbees towers, discovering the power of balance, patience, and teamwork. By the end of the day, the room buzzed with colour, laughter, and confidence — proof that when we nurture our ideas and work together, anything is possible!

Year 1/2 STEM Day: Truck Cat Adventures! 

Our Year 1 and 2 students revved up their creativity during our Truck Cat Adventures STEM Day! Inspired by the story of Truck Cat, students explored a world of coding, building, and imagination. From programming Tale-Bots to deliver “packages,” to designing pixel art masterpieces and crafting their very own cat-driven tractors, every station was buzzing with excitement and teamwork.

Young engineers worked together to solve challenges, debug their robot codes, and bring their ideas to life with hands-on materials. The day ended with proud smiles, colourful creations, and a few delighted “Truck Cats” ready to hit the road!

What a purr-fect day of learning through play, problem-solving, and creativity! 🐾✨

Foundation’s “Something Wonderful” STEM Day 

Our Foundation students had an amazing time celebrating STEM Day — a day filled with curiosity, creativity, and discovery! Inspired by the story Something Wonderful, our young scientists and engineers explored the world around them through hands-on investigations and playful problem-solving.

From exploring the shapes and colours of leaves to designing marble runs, building towers, and testing egg ramps, every activity sparked excitement and wonder. The children worked together beautifully — asking questions, making predictions, and celebrating their discoveries with big smiles and even bigger ideas!

It was truly a day of joyful learning, where imagination met investigation. We’re so proud of our budding inventors and explorers for showing that every day can be something wonderful when we stay curious!
